NELA Sepsis Webinar - 12th October
NELA and other national reports from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, the Royal College of Surgeons and NCEPOD have highlighted the importance of the rapid recognition and treatment of sepsis to reduce avoidable morbidity and mortality in emergency general surgery.
This webinar will outline the national picture of the epidemiology of sepsis, and the treatment and outcomes of patients with sepsis captured in the NELA data. We will also outline the evidence behind the strategies of timely intervention, with antibiotics and source control.
There will be time for a panel discussion and questions from the audience about the issues discussed.
