Round 2
On Thursday 16th December 2010, the NIAA Grants Committee met to consider the second round of 2010 applications for funding on behalf of The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI) & Anaesthesia,the Anaesthetic Research Society (ARS), the British Journal of Anaesthesia & The Royal College of Anaesthetists, The Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists (ACTA), the Neuroanaesthesia Society of Great Britain & Ireland (NASGBI), the Society for Education in Anaesthesia UK (SEA UK), the Vascular Anaesthesia Society of Great Britain & Ireland (VASGBI) and the Difficult Airway Society (DAS).
We considered 40 applications over eight categories for a requested sum of £ 1,472,347.37 and made a total of 12 awards over six categories to a value of £382,779. Success rate: 30%.
