Recruitment procedures

Recruitment procedure for the role of co-opted Trainee Representative on the NIAA Board.

This appointment will be made for three years or until the achievement of the Certificate of Completion of Training in the first instance, with the potential for re-appointment for a second three year term.

The position is open to trainees who hold a National Training Number in Anaesthesia and are either Academic Clinical Fellows, Academic Clinical Lecturers or are undertaking/have completed an MD(Res) or PhD.

The successful applicant will be expected to attend Board meetings and participate in activities to promote and enhance the work of the NIAA and academic anaesthesia in the UK.

Applicants will be asked to provide a one page CV with the names of two referees (one academic and one clinical).

Applications will be considered by the Chair of the NIAA Board and the Chair will determine the process for considering the applications. Appointments will be made subject to the approval of the NIAA Board.
